Email support@kindredcontent.app for anything at all — account trouble, billing, payouts, a bug, or a safety concern. We aim to reply within two business days.
It helps if you include the email address on your Kindred account, the device and app version you are using (Settings shows the version), and a screenshot if something looks wrong.
Subscriptions are purchased on the web, not inside the app. Sign up or change your plan at kindredcontent.app in a browser. The mobile app does not sell subscriptions and will point you to the website.
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and no card is needed to begin it. Viewer, Creator and Family plans are available monthly or annually; a Family plan covers up to 6 people. Current pricing is shown when you create an account and in Settings.
Open Settings → Manage Subscription to update your payment method, switch between monthly and annual, or cancel. That opens the Stripe billing portal, where cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
Charged unexpectedly?Email support@kindredcontent.app with the date and amount and we will look into it.
Kindred has no ads. Creators are paid from subscriber revenue instead: 35% of subscription revenue, after payment processing fees, goes into a pool shared among creators each month. Annual subscriptions count one month at a time, so a yearly payment contributes to twelve monthly pools rather than one.
Your share of that pool is worked out from three things, each measured against every creator's total for the month:
Earnings for a month are calculated on the 1st of the following month, and payouts run shortly after. To receive them you need a payout account, which you set up once from Settings → Set up payouts — that hands you to Stripe to collect your bank details and verify your identity. Stripe usually finishes within minutes, but can take longer if it needs to review something; we email you when payouts go live.
There is a $10 minimum. If you earn less than that in a month, nothing is lost — the balance rolls over and is paid once your unpaid total reaches $10. Your creator dashboard shows what you have earned, what is still pending, and what has been paid.
Payout didn't arrive? If your bank rejected a payout, your money is still safe in your Stripe balance — update your bank details from Settings and Stripe will retry. If something looks wrong, email support@kindredcontent.app.
Open Settings, scroll to the bottom, and choose Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes your account and all of your content, and cancels any active subscription. If you would rather keep your account and just stop being billed, cancel your subscription instead — see Subscriptions and Billing above.
If you cannot sign in to reach Settings, email support@kindredcontent.app from the address on the account and we will help.
Every post and profile has a report option. Tap the … menu on a post and choose Report post, then tell us what is wrong. Reports are reviewed and violating content and accounts are removed.
You can also email support@kindredcontent.app if you cannot reach the in-app tool, or if you need to report something urgently.
Child safetyReports involving the safety of a child are our highest priority and are acted on immediately. See our Child Safety Standards.
Kindred is built around landscape video, so uploads have a few requirements:
Large uploads resume automatically if your connection drops, so you do not have to start again. After uploading, video is processed for streaming — it may show as still processing for a few minutes while that finishes, and it plays from your original upload in the meantime.
Upload failing?Check the video is landscape and within the limits above, then try again on a stable connection. If it still fails, email support@kindredcontent.app and tell us the file size and length.
