These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kindred Content ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, as described in section 6.4, and for a serious violation without prior notice.
Free to join, no credit card required. Current pricing is always shown at signup and in Settings.
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance.
Users with 1,000 or more followers may apply for Creator status. Creator status unlocks monetization, extended video length (up to 3 hours), and outbound links on posts.
Creators are responsible for reporting earnings as income and paying applicable taxes. We will provide earnings summaries upon request.
Kindred Content is built on authentic, human-made content. Every post must be original work created by the person posting it. No exceptions.
Prohibited content may not be posted, shared, promoted, or monetised on Kindred, including through the Creator Program.
Kindred has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We remove content that violates this policy, and we suspend or permanently ban accounts that post it or that harass, threaten or abuse other users, for a serious violation, without prior warning. Repeated violations result in suspension or termination, as set out below.
Each time we remove content that violates these Terms, the account responsible receives a strike:
A serious violation, such as content that sexually exploits a minor, violent extremism, or a credible threat of violence, can lead to an immediate permanent ban without a warning or earlier strikes. A banned user may not create another account.
Repeat copyright infringers: content removed in response to a valid copyright notice (section 8.3) counts as a strike, and we terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.

You retain ownership of all content you post. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform.
All Platform technology, design, trademarks, and branding are owned by Kindred Content. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our Platform without written permission.
You do not need a Kindred account to report infringement. If you believe content on Kindred infringes your copyright, email support@kindredcontent.app with:
We remove content identified in a valid notice, and the removal counts as a strike against the account that posted it (section 6.4). If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address.
The Platform includes a voluntary 1-hour daily screen time limit. This feature:
Family accounts and parental controls are free. Anyone 18 or over can start a family group of up to six people. Parents in a group must be 18 or over; a teen member must be 13 to 17. Everyone joins by accepting an invitation. A parent in the group can turn the 1-hour daily limit on or off for each teen member (a teen cannot change it themselves), pause a teen’s browsing, and turn on a weekly digest of what the teen viewed. The digest is built from viewing activity recorded on our servers. The optional Family plan makes every member of a family group a paid member, billed per person for at least two people. The group and its parental controls do not depend on it.
We encourage mindful use of the Platform and are committed to your digital wellbeing.
You can report a post, comment, message or account that violates these Terms using the report feature in the app. We review every report within 24 hours and remove content that violates these Terms, suspending or banning the account responsible where warranted (section 6.4). Anyone, with or without an account, can also report content, including suspected copyright infringement, by emailing support@kindredcontent.app. You can also block any user. Blocking hides their posts and comments from you, stops either of you from messaging the other, and stops them from commenting on your posts.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account (at the bottom of Settings). Upon deletion:
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Kindred Content is not responsible for the content posted by users.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kindred Content shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Utah.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the app and via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
